St Remio's Iced Matcha with Strawberry Cold Foam Recipe

Ingredients:

Matcha Layer:

  • 1 to 1.5 tsp of St Remio Matcha powder
  • 60 ml hot water (not boiling)

Latte Base:

  • Ice (enough to fill half a tall glass)
  • 100 ml cold milk (any type)

Strawberry Cold Foam:

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp milk (any type)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp strawberry syrup or puree (we recommend Monin strawberry puree)

 

Method:

  1. Prepare the Matcha:

o   Sift 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of Matcha powder into a small bowl to remove clumps.

o   Add 60 ml of hot (but not boiling) water.

o   Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth and slightly frothy.

o   Set aside to cool slightly.

  1. Assemble the Latte Base:

o   Fill a tall glass halfway with ice.

o   Pour 100 ml of cold milk over the ice.

  1. Layer the Matcha:

o   Slowly pour the cooled matcha over the milk to create a layered effect.

  1. Make the Strawberry Cold Foam:

o   In a small cup or milk frother, combine heavy cream, milk, and strawberry syrup or puree.

o   Froth until thick and creamy but still pourable — it should be able to float on top.

  1. Top and Serve:

o   Gently spoon or pour the strawberry cold foam over the Matcha latte.

o   Serve immediately and enjoy!
