With a name coined after lead singer of the Divinyls’ Chrissy Amphlett, the vibe of this taphouse perfectly encapsulates a funky 80s atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to gather with mates, enjoy an intimate dinner or afternoon drinks. Boasting an inviting and buzzing atmosphere, Amphlett House is led by two of hospitality’s finest: much-loved and celebrated chef, Ian Curley, and award-winning Creative Beverage Director, Andrea Gualdi, who has curated the progressive drinks list.

The menu sets to re-invent the way we experience much-loved ‘pub classics’. Fish and chips, a succulent breaded chicken breast with Italian slaw, smoked bone marrow toast and stuffed zucchini flowers are just some of the deliciously-elevated dishes that deliver a tantalising yet unpretentious experience, all prepared with quality Victorian produce.

As for the drinks, Andrea Gualdi, co-founder of Sydney Bar ‘Bar Sammy,’ has created an extensive drinks menu that serves up craft beers, wines and a unique selection of handcrafted cocktails using Australian ingredients.
