What coffee machines are your capsules compatible with?

We have a range of compatible capsules to suit:

What is a K-fee machine?

K-fee®* is otherwise known as the Expressi®* coffee machine available at Aldi.

Are your capsules compatible with the Nespresso®* Vertuo line?

No they are not. They are a different shaped capsule and we don’t offer a range compatible with that system.

Do you source sustainable coffee?

We sure do! We only source sustainable coffee. You will notice our coffee products have Rainforest Alliance Certification to indicate that we source 100% sustainable coffee across our range.

What does Rainforest Alliance Certified mean?

We are excited to continue our partnership with Rainforest Alliance across our whole range. This means you will see our products proudly displaying the Rainforest Alliance logo which ensures complete transparency and traceability right back to the farm. We only source certified coffee and pay over and above to ensure that the growers are receiving fair prices for their coffee making sure they can provide for their families and reinvest into their plantation.

Rainforest Alliance also ensures each farm adheres to best practices – from safe workplaces for women, updated farming techniques to account for climate change, programs to assist the growers families, access to an agronomist to ensure best practices and training to ensure a high production– there is a strict criteria for producers to meet in order to be part of a program. The end result is more exposure to international buyers, a sustainable crop which earns a higher yield and better support for these communities.

Rainforest Alliance is a global program and a label for sustainable farming of coffee. Rainforest Alliance is an international non-profit organization working to create a world where people and nature thrive in harmony and create a better future for people and nature by making responsible business the new normal.

Are your pods recyclable?

They sure are! But you must remove the foil or plastic top, tip out the grounds into the compost and then the plastic cartridge can be placed into the recycling bin.

Do you sell any compostable capsules?

Yes we do! We have a TUV certified range of industrial compostable and biodegradable capsules for both Nespresso®* and Lavazza A Modo Mio®* systems. They are designed to break down in an industrial composting facility. The pods are made from renewable resources, free from aluminium and GMOs and are hermetically sealed. Due to their composition, the capsules are also biodegradable so will breakdown in landfill over time as well.

Please check with your local council for their green waste regulations. Please note, they are not designed for home composting and will only break down in an industrial composting facility.

What initiatives does St Remio support?

Each year we work with different female farming co-operatives to fund a project that will help their community. Majority of the world’s coffee growers are female, so it is important for us to support these communities to ensure the long-term sustainability of coffee growing alongside providing them with tools and infrastructure at origin.

Do you ship overseas?

Unfortunately, we only ship Australia wide. But we hope to be able to shop overseas in the near future.

How long does a delivery take?

Due to COVID-19, delivery time via Australia Post has increased substantially. We do apologise for this. It may take a week or longer pending where you live.

Usually, a delivery will take between 2 -4 working days to reach you. However, if you live in rural areas it will take a little longer. We recommend a subscription so you can rest assured your coffee will always arrive to your door just as you need it!

How do I prevent coffee from building up in my machine?

You need to regularly flush your machines with water to ensure you manage the coffee build up and ensure your machine is working at its optimal. Just read your coffee machine instruction manual and follow the steps. We recommend doing monthly.

How long do my capsules stay fresh for?

All our capsules are hermetically sealed to ensure optimal freshness. Our capsules will stay fresh for 24 months. Please note that our industrial compostable range is optimal till 18 months.

How should I store my capsules?

Please store your capsules in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.

How should I store my coffee?

Once you open your whole beans, you need to keep your beans in an airtight container and for optimal freshness keep in a cool, dark place like your fridge. Then wake up to a fresh coffee each and every morning!

Does your coffee contain any artificial flavouring or added ingredients?

No! All of our coffee, including our full coffee capsule ranges, are made from nothing but 100% sustainably sourced coffee! The tasting notes for each blend is only an indication of flavours and do not contain any added ingredients.

Does your coffee contain nuts?

No, all of our coffee beans and capsules are made from 100% freshly ground coffee.

Once I place my subscription order, when will it arrive?

It will arrive to you within the next 3-4 days pending where you live. When you join our subscription program you will be asked to create a subscription portal, where you will select the dates of delivery. It will be packed and delivered on the nearest working day of the date selected. 

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes you can. You just have to log in to your account to cancel your order.

What happens if the capsules don’t work?

If you have any troubles at all, please contact so we can look into it. All our capsules have gone through stringent testing to ensure compatibility so reach out to us if there is any problems.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Unfortunately no, we are unable to deliver your coffee orders to any PO Boxes at this point in time.

Can I cancel any time?

Of course! There are no lock in contracts. We get it. Life is busy. Once you have created your profile (which you do when set up your subscription), you will be able to log in at any time and cancel your subscription. However, there are T&C’s that apply and you need to give minimum 30 days’ notice to cancel your subscription. If you cancel with less notice, your coffee parcel will arrive the following month and then it will cancel post that delivery. Read the full Terms and Conditions here.
