I have been involved in coffee for over 15 years and it was right here in the fields of Rwanda that I truly understood coffee and most importantly the individuals, families and communities behind it. After spending time with the female coffee producers and listening to their stories of their lives post-genocide, I was compelled to create a product that would give back and support these women.
