Casa Chow: Bringing The Heat to Woolloongabba
Introducing the highly anticipated Casa Chow. The newest edition from the crew that brought you Sasso Italiano, Winston Press & Felix Green. With an already solid list of venues under their belt, Casa Chow is the newest venture that is set to take Woolloongabba by storm. With a funky & vibrant vibe, a menu that pushes culinary boundaries and an extensive list of cocktails that will take your tastebuds on a journey; this new joint has all the ingredients for an epic night out.
Now (and most importantly!) let’s talk food. What makes Casa Chow so ambitious and unique is its origins. The menu fuses together traditional Peruvian and Chinese flavours to create the ultimate flavour punch and we bet you’ve never tried anything like it before.
Of course, when you arrive, you need to start with a cocktail. True to its Peruvian roots, the drinks menu features its own Pisco Sour selection, with deliciously refreshing variations that are sure to kick your night off with a bang! You can also sip your way through a handful of local and South American wines & beers.
For the main event, a seriously epic curation of authentic Peruvian and Chinese dishes that give “traditional” a whole new meaning. You’ll want to try as much as possible here, so sharing is the best option. Start small with their kingfish ceviche served with crispy, succulent wontons. Among the extensive list of share plates are also seriously epic crab spring rolls, slow cooked pork belly bao buns, dan dan noodles & scallop and prawn wontons. Once you’re ready for something more hearty, you cannot go past the wagyu karubi beef skewers served with crispy chilli oil & traditional anticuchos style sauce. Top it all off with matcha ice cream or tres leche cake, and an epic coffee (of course!).
The extravagant open-air venue is bursting the colour and soul. From the colourful wooden shutters and patterned tiles, to the fun neon lights, the vibe is dialed all the way to epic. Pair this with a DJ booth that spins Latin-American beats, and you have yourself the ultimate setting for your next Saturday night dinner & drinks!
