St Remio's St Grace vs St Anne-Marie

St Remio's St Grace vs St Anne-Marie

Two bags, same bench, very different cups. St Grace and St Anne-Marie both come from our café range, the same blends poured in venues across Melbourne, and both brew beautifully at home. If you're after a smooth coffee blend, one of them is your answer. If you want something with a bit more backbone, it's the other. Here's how to tell.

St Grace: smooth, balanced, easy from the first sip

St Grace is 100% Arabica and lightly roasted, with notes of caramel, fruit and nut. It's smooth and full-bodied without shouting, the kind of cup that works just as well as a long black as it does in a latte. The light roast lets every flavour come through.

Best for: black coffee drinkers, a splash of milk, and mornings that call for something balanced.

St Anne-Marie: bold, with dark chocolate and spice

St Anne-Marie is a 50/50 Arabica and Robusta blend, medium roasted, with notes of dark chocolate, dried nuts and a hint of spice. The Robusta brings weight and a rich crema, so it holds its own through milk.

Best for: flat whites, cappuccinos and anyone who likes their espresso with intensity. Chocolate for breakfast? Technically, yes.

Brewing either one at home

Both blends start from the same place: 21 grams in the basket. Aim for around 27 seconds with St Grace, give or take two either side, and 27 to 29 seconds with St Anne-Marie. Want the full walk-through? Our St Anne-Marie espresso recipe takes you through it step by step.

The same growers behind every bag

Whichever you choose, both blends are Rainforest Alliance Certified, and every bag of St Remio supports the Cocagi Women's Coffee Farming Cooperative in Rwanda, where we've funded land, agronomists and training since 2017. That's your coffee full circle. See what your coffee funds.
